Whale watching in Iceland
Whale watching in Iceland begins with an experience of the culture of the old Reykjavik harbor. While at sea, our guides will point out and explain the underwater activity of the whales in preparation for watching them play when further out to sea. Though our travels rarely require us to go more than 15 nautical miles out for whale watching, our guides will share plenty of information about the bay, bird life, and the natural surroundings of the area during the trip.

On our whale watching tours we most frequently see Minke and Humpback Whales, and occasionally dolphins and porpoises! Tours leave from your hotel or guest house and we usually need to travel no further than 15 nautical miles from the old Reykjavik harbour.
Tours and about 3 hours and it can be cold on board. For your comfort, we provide special suits to keep warm when outside, or you can view from inside the heated cabin and enjoy hot food and drink from our on-board cafe.
