Hengill Volcano Area and into the Icelandic Underground Exploring Lava Cave.

Here we´ll take you to the famous Hengill Volcano area and into the Icelandic underground! We will start our journey by exploring one of the many lava caves in the Blue Mountains just outside of Reykjavík. There we´ll learn how the lava cave was formed and witness the beauty of the natural phenomena of lava stalagmites and stalactites. Next, we´ll travel to the geothermal area of the Hengill Volcano and take a hike in a beautiful area filled with hot springs and bubbling mud pools.  Then our hike will continue down through the Reykjadalur (The Valley of Smoke) where you can take a relaxing bath in a warm river.

Price For Children : 9.950 ISK

Minimum Age : 8 yrs.
Included : Transport, guiding services, snow shoes (winter), helmets, and headlights.
